Why we do not sell burner valve cream

There are several reasons why we do not sell burner valve cream

We feel that the general public is not trained nor licensed to work with gas related items. There are several safety factors that are involved. One of the most important reasons is that the general public will not have the testing equipment. After 40 plus years who knows what parts have failed inside the valve. Do you the general public have replacements of failed parts. We would guess not. Will the valve cream miraculously repair the failed parts? We don't think so!

Sure you could just take the valve apart and slap some valve cream inside it and hope for the best, but do you want to put yourself, your family and your home at risk?

You are dealing with gas!

Then you need to ask yourself are you sure you reinstall the parts correctly? Are you sure you sealed the valve correctly. Are you sure that you do not have any leaks.... no matter how slight?

If you feel you want to go ahead add valve cream inside your valves please feel free to do so .......BUT you will need to find the valve cream elsewhere we will not sell it, or advise a customer where they can purchase this item.

There is a lot more to rebuilding valves than just slapping some valve cream inside a valve. So don't let some DO-IT-YOURSELF CLUB that does not do restorations of antique stoves tell you that valve cream is all you need to repair your valves. They just want to make a sell of a product that has been relabeled with their name on it.
