Porcelain Enamel Services
Porcelain is a high temperature ceramic glaze that
is fused on to a metal surface in a very high heat furnace. There
are no other coatings that will withstand high temperatures as
well as porcelain does. Sometimes people refer to it as stove
enamel.
In porcelain refinishing the old coating is removed
and the new porcelain finish is applied and then baked on in the
furnace. This is NOT PAINT
or POWDER COATING, that process will
not withstand the heat from the stoves nor are they the proper
finishes for stoves.

piece, because of the varied name brands of stoves and ranges
that we porcelain parts for.
