How to remove and reinstall parts


Safety Valve and Thermocouple

Here are a examples of the safety and where it can be located

To locate your safety valve

Most safety valves are under the stove top or in the side storage drawer or at the top of the left side storage.

If you have a separate broiler or a double oven you will have 2 safety valves.


Step 1 - SHUT OFF THE GAS!!


Step 2- Locate your safety valve

Step 3 - Remove both gas lines and thermocouple

Step 4 - Remove the screws

Step 5- LEAVE THE GAS SHUT OFF

Stove will be inoperable until parts are reinstalled

Step 6- Send the safety(s) and thermocouple(s) to Antique Gas Stoves

Step 7 - After reinstalling the parts, turn on the gas, leak check stove and all fittings,

relight all pilots, reset the safety(s)
